Accessibility Statement
iUvo Health is committed to making the iUvo Health Web Companion usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement describes the accessibility conformance of app.iuvohealth.com and how to give us feedback about access barriers.
Service covered
- Service name
- iUvo Health Web Companion (app.iuvohealth.com)
- Provider
- iUvo Health, Sweden — a decision-support service for continuous biometric monitoring. iUvo provides data insights, not medical advice or diagnosis.
- Conformance standard
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 Level AA
- Legal basis
- European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), transposed in Sweden as lag (2023:254) om vissa produkters och tjänsters tillgänglighet, in force from 28 June 2025.
Conformance status
The iUvo Health Web Companion is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. Active remediation is in progress.
Known accessibility issues
The following gaps were identified during our most recent internal audit (May 2026) and are scheduled for remediation:
- Page metadata incomplete. Per-page titles, meta descriptions, Open Graph and Twitter Card tags, and JSON-LD structured data are still being added across the public surface (login, methodology, share, this page).
- Automated accessibility CI not yet in place. We do not yet block pull requests on axe-core or Lighthouse violations. A CI pipeline using
@axe-core/playwrightagainst the public surface and a logged-in smoke set is scheduled for the next development phase. - Some colour-contrast ratios unverified. iUvo uses a dark-canvas theme with a teal accent (#00B5A4) and a navy secondary (#2B4B8C / #345f91). White body text on the black canvas clears AA Normal at 21:1, but teal-on-black is restricted to Large Text contexts (3.99:1). A full manual contrast audit against every UI surface is planned.
- No prior Accessibility Statement. This statement, published 21 May 2026, is the first formal accessibility statement for the service. Previously, no statement had been published.
- Manual WCAG 2.2 AA audit pending. Keyboard navigation, focus order, ARIA usage, reduced-motion handling, form labelling, and touch-target size will be independently verified during the next interactive audit pass.
